Privacy policy

1. Who we are

Ad Holic is a digital marketing agency in Cairo, Egypt, registered as Ad Holic for Digital Marketing Solutions. This policy covers adholic.co, our careers pages at adholic.co/careers, and the internal tools our team uses to deliver client work — including our Facebook and Instagram app.

2. What we collect and why

• Briefs and contact requests. When you use our brief or contact form we collect your name, company, email, phone number, website, the service you're interested in, your budget range and anything you write to us. We use it to reply to you and prepare a proposal.
• Job applications. When you apply for a role we collect your name, email, phone, CV, cover note, current title, years of experience, expected salary, notice period and any LinkedIn or portfolio links you add. We use it only to assess your application.
• Leads from our ads. If you fill in an Ad Holic form on Facebook, Instagram or TikTok, that platform passes us what you entered (typically your name, phone number and email, plus your answers) so our team can contact you.
• Website analytics. We count visits with our own tool, which uses no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. We never keep your IP address: a visit is counted under a code made from your IP address and browser, mixed with a random key that is created each day and deleted the next — so visits on different days can't be linked to each other, or to you. This data isn't shared with anyone.
• Advertising measurement (Meta). Our site uses the Meta Pixel, which sets cookies (_fbp, _fbc) in your browser so Meta can tell us which ads lead to enquiries. When you send us a brief, our server also sends Meta that event together with your email, phone number and name — scrambled with SHA-256 hashing before they leave our server — plus your IP address and browser type. Meta uses this under its own Privacy Policy. You can block these cookies in your browser settings, and manage how Meta uses data for ads in your Facebook ad preferences.

3. Clients' Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts

Some clients ask us to manage their social media. With their permission — given by adding Ad Holic as a partner in Meta Business Suite — our internal tools connect to their Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts through Meta's official API.

• We use this access only to publish and schedule the posts, reels and stories the client has approved, and to read the basic details needed to do that (the Page and account names, and links to published posts).
• We don't collect data about the people who follow, like or comment on those accounts, and we don't use or share anything we receive from Meta for any other purpose. We never sell it.
• Access keys from Meta are stored only on our servers, never in a browser.
• A client can withdraw our access at any time by removing Ad Holic as a partner in Business Suite, and we stop using it when our contract ends.

4. Who we share it with

We don't sell or rent personal data. We share it only:

• with the service providers that run our systems — our web host (Hostinger) and our email provider — who process it on our behalf;
• with Meta and TikTok, as described above;
• when the law requires us to.

5. How long we keep it

We keep briefs, leads and client records for as long as we're working with you or discussing work with you, and job applications for as long as the hiring process needs them — then we delete them. Analytics keys are deleted daily, as explained above. You can ask us to delete your data sooner (see below).

6. How we protect it

Our sites use encrypted connections (HTTPS). Our databases and admin areas are reachable only by our team, through password-protected accounts, and access keys for outside services are kept on our servers only.

7. Your rights

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, and object to our using it. We handle personal data in line with applicable law, including Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020). To make a request, email info@adholic.co.

8. Deleting your data

To ask us to delete your data — including anything we received through Facebook or Instagram:

1. Email info@adholic.co with the subject “Data deletion request”.
2. Tell us what to delete: the email or phone number you used with us or, for a business, the Facebook Page or Instagram account.
3. We'll confirm when it's done, within 30 days.

You can also stop our app reaching your account at any time: on Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites) and remove Ad Holic. Businesses can remove Ad Holic as a partner in Meta Business Suite → Business settings → Partners.

9. Children

Our services are for businesses, and for job seekers aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
